After Hours at ASSA Abloy

In case you missed the first AHBA After Hours of 2018, here is a quick recap!

Last Thursday, over 85 AHBA members gathered at ASSA Abloy Entrance Systems of the High Country in South Asheville. If you attended and didn’t leave with a belly full of Okie Dokies BBQ and ideas for a custom garage door, then you didn’t stay long enough. If you did, you heard music from Marc Keller and possibly walked away with one of the many awesome giveaways, like a garage door tune-up, a Liftmaster 8550 Wi-Fi Operator and battery back-up and other various Liftmaster items.

We were excited to offer a special incentive to Builder Members that attended. They received a FREE Directory Logo Upgrade that’s normally valued at $150. Directory Logo Upgrades include your company logo on the online membership directory and the Parade of Homes Buyers’ Guide, grants access to upload photos and videos to your online listing and provide links to awards and highlights. With the AHBA website receiving over 14,000 views a month, this is a guaranteed way to help you stand out and extend your brand to thousands of local consumers looking for building professionals. Even if you weren’t able to attend last week’s After Hours, you can still purchase a logo upgrade and learn about its benefits here.

Announcements were made about the upcoming AHBA Annual Golf Tournament, the Parade of Homes Info Session next month and some updates on the AHBA Scholarship Program. Teams for the golf tournament are sold out, but there are still a few sponsorship opportunities available and we bet they won’t last long. If you’re considering entering a home or project in the Parade of Homes, be sure to sign up for one of the info sessions coming up on May 2 or May 23. You can register for any of these on the AHBA Events Calendar.  The AHBA Scholarship deadline is Monday, April 30. If you know of a student who would be a great candidate, please urge them to learn more and apply before the deadline.

The AHBA has so many exciting events coming up, and we hope that you won’t miss the next After Hours in June at First Citizens Bank downtown. Check out the AHBA Facebook Page for photos from last week’s event.
