This year’s BA of the Blue Ridge Mtns Holiday Party was fantastic! Held December 15th at Highland Brewing, the event was again sponsored by Builders FirstSource. The theme for this year was favorite holiday movie. Folks really came to party, and a great night was had by all.
The 2022 Board members were recognized for their hard work, along with Foundation Club sponsors who make our events amazing throughout the year.
We had almost 200 folks at this years event enjoying food from Root Down thanks to CASON Building Supply. The mobile Axeville Axe throwing space was set up, and axes were flying thanks to Gennett Lumber. Photos could be taken at the Union Home Mortgage Photo booth. And guests enjoyed Highland Beer, and our DJ as well.
With our Reverse Raffle sponsored by 84 Lumber and Math Insurance anyone attending could win amazing prizes. Prizes included: French Broad Chocolates, Gift Cards to Sauna House, liquor from Eda Rhyne, local candles, and a faucet.
Money was also raised for the NC Build PAC by raffling off a few specialty items local art, a Kegerator, Golf Rounds, a white water paddling trip, and stand-up paddle boards from Hellbender.
Guests were encouraged to bring new toys to donate to the Toys for Tots Campaign. It is always a pleasure to work with this wonderful organization that is able to play Santa to children in need.
The Costume Contest had a great show out. We had a tie for the top 3! The Pigeon Lady from Home Alone 2, Yukon Cornelius, and Bad Santa stole the show.
