PACE Winners

Please join me as we turn our attention to this year’s new Awards Program, the PACE Awards. Released earlier this summer, all AHBA Member companies were eligible to submit entries in various categories for the opportunity to be recognized for their hard work and accomplishments in the local home building industry. PACE, which stands for Promoting Advertising and Construction Excellence, covers a multitude of categories ranging from Home Design to Best Marketing Efforts to Community of the Year and more. 8 PACE Award Winners were awarded during the Fall Awards Gala on October 17th. As an added bonus, all of the P.A.C.E. winners will automatically be submitted to NCHBA’s 2014 STARS Awards Program.

For the Category of Best Color Ad

Versant, submitted by TFM Carolina. This ad showcased the intrinsic and natural beauty of Versant to market and sell individual properties within its gated community.

 

For the Category for Best Interior Merchandising

ID.ology Interior Design for their work done on the Rockcliff Model Home by fully furnishing and decorating the

home creating a classy, organic feel through the use of local vendors and artisans.

 

For the Category of Best Public Relations Effort

Medallion Pool Company for their multi-faceted publicity effort targeting local, regional, trade and national media as a premier design/build firm for pools, waterscapes and outdoor living environments.

 

For the category of Best Landscape and Outdoor Design

Greater Scapes Landscape and Lawncare for their residential project completed in Biltmore Park through thoughtful design and execution of making a sloped backyard into a usuable space.

For the Category of Best Website

Versant submitted by TFM Carolina showcasing an ideal location for buyers within a desirable vacation destination.

 

The Category for Best Logo Design

Studio McCormick creating a brand statement appealing to both the potential home owner as well as the home builder.

 

This year’s PACE Award for Best Home Design

Retro+Fit Design, LLC for the Rockliff Model Home in Southcliff that was designed to reach a broad cross section of

home buyers that would help fuel the growth of the development.

 

Community of the Year Award is Presented to

Grand Highlands at Bearwallow Mountain often described as a Meadow on a Mountaintop with its breathtaking mountain views and rolling pastoral landscape located within the grand triangle of Asheville, Hendersonville and Lake Lure.

 

The Asheville Home Builders Association is please to be able to award the hard work that our members are doing in building the industry and setting a high standard for Construction and Advertising.
